The hotel is in an excellent location, even if you go during October like I did. The ocean view from your room is very relaxing, and beautiful. The room itself was perfectly appointed, other than the bed which was hard as a rock...to the point of causing pain. I think if they updated the beds it would be the best hotel along South Shore Drive to stay in, especially during the Summer.

Maria wasn't just a phone answerer, she was a hostess! I wish I could give this more stars 🌟 🤩 ... wonderful people, wonderful ocean view ... spotless rooms that are fully equipped ... beautiful beach ... and the pop machine is only a dollar! Excellent home base for a Cape Cod vacation! I am so delighted we found this gem!

Far from perfect, and their ev charger didn't work while I was there, but still a nice hotel at a reasonable price. The tv is small and not a smart tv. I had a room with a kitchen, and though a coffee maker and cups were provided, make sure to bring your own coffee, sugar, and cream if you want them. The building is on the ocean, and there are lots of shells. Overall, it was a nice experience with those caveats.

We recently stayed at the Surfcomber. It was a great experience. At first, I had some apprehension because our son's family was staying there also. Our grandchildren are 4yr.old and 2yr. old. It worked out well. It was great having the beach close by. The sand was soft, once you navigated past the little bit of seaweed, the ocean water was clean. You could see to the bottom. If the kids needed to go to the room for any reason, it was just a short walk up the steps. We also took advantage of using the pool. It was very clean and had lounge chaises available. Our rooms were very clean. The hotel brought back the daily housekeeping. The staff were friendly and helpful, from the receptionist at the desk to the maintenance crew around the facility. Looking forward to making reservations for next year. Thank you for a pleasant experience!
